The project:
Wakandan village gate built using live vines with artificial foliage.
The process
Additional trees harvested and installed on steel plates to withstand a scripted special effects flood.
The assignment:
Sacred Forest burial scene entailed creating a moss cloaked forest with a large central tree.
The process:
The tree was harvested from a storm blow down and anchored in concrete with a hidden steel support. Additional trees were added to fill out the forest again harvested from storm blowdowns. The moss effect was created by spraying shredded moss onto all surfaces after pretreating with spray adhesives.
